Mitigation/Enhancement Recommendations 7.83 Mitigation and enhancement was suggested through the June 2012 meetings (See: Appendix 2). It is noted in LP01 ‘Strategy for the location of development’ that soil quality may be improved, as the development will include the use of previously developed land. This factor is also noted in other policy sets. 7.84 It is recommended that in LP01 ‘ Strategy for the location of development’ that the plan quantifies where resources for building works are to be sourced from in reference to the mechanism for effect ‘pressure to increase use of mineral resources’ although it is noted in other policy sets this may be difficult to quantify.
