[ER08] Built Environment
13.1 The built environment receptor covers the effects on the quality and character of the built
environment in the maintenance and restoration of existing structures and the construction
of new developments. This receptor captures the factor of ‘material assets’ as required by the
SEA Directive and UK SEA Regulations and incorporates a number of SA sustainable
development objectives as outlined in Table 80.
