4. Conclusions<br />
The objective was to evaluate the ability of the RegCM3<br />
using Sugahara modified algorithm to simulate tropical<br />
cyclones a algorithm to locate and tracking their<br />
trajectories. Comparing the simulations with observations<br />
and it is found that the model has little ability to simulate<br />
long lasting tropical cyclones and this is enhanced over the<br />
Gulf of Mexico region<br />
