E-learning Courses
E-learning, taking courses over the Internet, is one of many pathways available to students earning a secondary school
diploma with the Algoma District School Board. Each year some courses are delivered in response to student and
regional needs. All courses are taught by cerfied teachers of the Algoma District School Board.
Most courses are connuous entry, meaning students can start throughout most of the year, and complete credit
requirements at their own pace. Other courses finish at semester end.
Students who are currently enrolled in an Algoma District Secondary School should consult their Guidance Department
to enroll in e-learning, or they may contact the Board’s e-learning contact at 705.945.7329 for further details.
• Achieves at a successful level in his/her other courses.
