Business Leadership: Becoming a Manager, Grade 12, Workplace Preparaon (BOG4E) This course helps students prepare for<br />
managerial posions in their future careers. Students will focus on the development of core skills required to become a successful<br />
manager, including operaons management, inventory control, markeng, financial planning, scheduling, and communicaon.<br />
Students will also explore the management challenges of hiring, training, and movang employees, and complying with legal<br />

Financial Accounng Principles, Grade 12, University/College Preparaon (BAT4M)<br />
This course introduces students to advanced accounng principles that will prepare them for postsecondary studies in business.<br />
Students will learn about financial statements for various forms of business ownership and how those statements are interpreted in<br />
making business decisions. This course further develops accounng methods for assets and introduces accounng for partnerships,<br />

Informaon and Communicaon Technology: Mulmedia Soluons, Grade 12, College Preparaon (BTX4C)<br />
This course provides students with the opportunity to apply their informaon and communicaon technology skills while working<br />
in a team environment. Through a project-based approach, students will have opportunies to integrate common business soware<br />
applicaons and apply mulmedia techniques. Students will further develop their understanding of electronic business and e-<br />
commerce environments. The skills acquired in this course will prepare students for success in postsecondary studies and in their<br />

This course focuses on the development of leadership skills used in managing a successful business. Students will analyse the role of<br />
a leader in business with a focus on decision making, management of group dynamics, workplace stress and conflict, movaon of<br />
employees, and planning. Effecve business communicaon skills, ethics, and social responsibility will be emphasized throughout the<br />

This course examines the global challenges of creang a sustainable and equitable future, focusing on current issues that illustrate<br />
these challenges. Students will invesgate a range of topics, including cultural, economic, and geopolical relaonships, regional<br />
disparies in the ability to meet basic human needs, and protecon of the natural environment. Students will use geotechnologies<br />
and skills of geographic inquiry and analysis to develop and communicate balanced opinions about the complex issues facing Canada<br />
and a world that is interdependent and constantly changing.<br />
Prerequisite: Any university or university/college preparaon course in Canadian and world studies, English, or social sciences and<br />
humanies Korah only (offered alternate years- odd years)<br />
Geomacs : Geotechnologies in Acon, Grade 12, University / College Preparaon (CGO4M)<br />
This course gives students experience in using geotechnologies to develop soluons to real-world problems involving physical and<br />
human geography. Students will extend their knowledge of geomacs in the areas of cartography, geographic informaon systems<br />
(GIS), the global posioning system (GPS), and remote sensing. Students will develop crical thinking and communicaon skills as<br />
they apply geotechnologies and geographic inquiry methods to devise and present ways of improving condions for people and the<br />
environment. Prerequisite: Any university, university/college, or college preparaon course in Canadian and world studies, English, or<br />
