.Tiffs is doubtfully a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Raritan</strong> <strong>flora</strong>: and probably<br />
came from <strong>New</strong>berry's locality "near Keyport," i. e., Cliffwood<br />
bluff, which is in <strong>the</strong> overlying Magothy formation, as I have<br />
found cones <strong>of</strong> this species at that place. Since, however, <strong>the</strong>re<br />
is no reason why this species should not occur in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Raritan</strong>, and<br />
<strong>the</strong> present uncertainty as to <strong>the</strong> locality from which <strong>New</strong>berry's<br />
specimens were collected cannot be cleared up, it is retained as a<br />
member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Raritan</strong> <strong>flora</strong>.<br />
Occurrence.--Locality unknown.<br />
