• Recipient of a two-year stipend awarded to a limited number of undergraduate candidates to perform biomedical<br />
research fellowship under NIH scientists.<br />
• Examined the role of immunoglobulin and c-myc chromosomal translocations in the development of murine plasmacytoma<br />
as a model for human lymphoma through biochemical and molecular biological techniques, leading to correlating genetic<br />
distinctions between resistant and sensitive lines in their ability to repair DNA damage caused by oxidative stress.<br />
