Founded in 1924, Plymouth Tube Company is a specialty manufacturer of precision steel tubing, steel and<br />

titanium near-net shapes, and steel and titanium cold drawn shapes. Plymouth Tube is a privately held, familyowned<br />

Sub Chapter S-Corporation peaking with projected sales in 2011 of $250 million.<br />

Corporate Controller, Warrenville, IL 2008 – Present<br />

• Manages a team of nine associates. Responsible for and oversees all functions of a corporate Finance<br />

Department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, all Treasury<br />

functions, Payroll, Federal and multiple state tax filings, Internal and External auditing, company-wide fixed<br />

asset management and Financial Statement preparation and publication.<br />

• Works closely with VP of Finance to establish and then maintain the relationships with all outside partners<br />

including our banks, auditors, tax professionals, insurance carriers / brokers and actuaries.<br />

• Oversee all aspects of the Company’s defined benefit and defined contribution plans, including compliance,<br />

benefit calculations, audits and tax filings for three plans. Serves as a committee member and fiduciary of<br />

plans.<br />

Corporate Accounting Mgr, Warrenville, IL 2001 – 2008<br />

• Managed a team of three associates covering the functions of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Corporate<br />

Accounting, and data entry.<br />

• Full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of Consolidated Financial Statements.<br />

• Managed the administration of insurance coverage.<br />

• Managed all external audits including the annual financial audit, defined benefit & defined contribution<br />

retirement plan audits and regular bank compliance audits.<br />

• This campus was a 50-acre site with 3 distinct and decentralized manufacturing facilities consisting of<br />

approximately 220 union and salary employees. The entire site was approximately $45,000,000 in revenues.<br />

• Member of Senior Management team for site.<br />

• Led and managed a staff of eleven employees in the areas of information systems, purchasing and receiving,<br />

shipping, accounting, accounts payable, human resources, payroll, training and janitorial for the entire site.
