Uses along the majorroads around the perimeter of the Airport, and on the western side, are predominantly commercial and lightindustrial. There are pockets of residential uses mixed among the commercial areas on the western side of theAirport. Table 4-8 lists the zoningcategories and City of Warwick zoning districts. Most of the areas north and west of the Airport are zoned forcommercial and/or industrial uses, which, according to FAA criteria, are compatible with Airport operations.Residential zoning districts south of the Airport in the neighborhood of Greenwood and east in the Hoxsieneighborhood allow land uses that are considered incompatible with noise levels.4.3.2.3 Land Use CompatibilityTable 4-9 summarizes these land uses that are exposed to noise levels at or above DNL 65 dB.
