GreekInscriptions in Brit. Mus., LXXIX. ; Stereoscopic, No. 121 ;Wolters, No. 1104.606. Top of stele, with, central palmetto and two halfpalmettes, springing from acanthus leaves. Found in theside of a mound, near Maritza, Ithodes.Marble ; height, 2 feet 3 inches ; width, 2 feet 3 J inches.607. Upper part of stel^, surmounted by a central palraetteand two half palmettes, springing from acanthus leaves.Similar to last, but in lower relief.Probably from Athens.
