Fragment of relief. Zeus, wearing a mantle, is seated ona stool (diphros). His left arm is raised, as if resting ona sceptre. The right hand is extended. Near him isHera, standing, with her right arm across her breast andher left hand raised to her veil. The relief which is onlycomplete at the right side, was bounded by pilasters andan architrave. The missing part may have contained thefigures of suppliants.—J.
