In this number—the only one I was able toconsult—there is an index of the first fifteen numbers of the review, listingthe various essays on Philippine reforms by Regidor. By October 1871, Labraand Regidor had planned a new publication, but because they failed to collectthe needed funds, they decided instead to increase the issues of El Correo deEspana. See Torino Sanz, 1872, 113. Even if now Manuel Regidor is a littlefamiliar to the reader, it will be good to recall that he was the son of Cristobal,Spanish surgeon residing in Manila.
