apply for and obtain fingerprinting clearance and pass all the required New York State<br />

Teacher Certification Examinations in order to be recommended <strong>by</strong> Cazenovia College<br />

for New York State teacher certification.<br />

Monitoring Student Progress: Each student in the Inclusive Early Childhood Education<br />

program will be evaluated annually in conference with program faculty. Cooperating<br />

teachers in the student‘s field experience and student teaching placements will<br />

contribute to these assessments and will participate in the assessment conferences.<br />

Requirements for Graduation: Minimum overall grade point average <strong>of</strong> 2.5, a minimum<br />

C+ grade in each education course taken, completion <strong>of</strong> all degree requirements and<br />

credits, a satisfactory review and evaluation <strong>of</strong> field work, outstanding student teaching<br />

assessment, and satisfactory presentation <strong>of</strong> a pr<strong>of</strong>essional portfolio at the end <strong>of</strong> both<br />

student teaching placements. These requirements are in addition to the College‘s<br />

graduation requirements.<br />
