Interview
Hochschule in Oslo begonnen.
Beim Schreiben meiner Bachelor Arbeit fiel mir auf,
dass es wenig norwegische Literatur mit anthroposophischem
Hintergrund zum Thema Behinderung und
Demenz gibt. Auch in den Schriften Steiners habe
ich nichts dazu gefunden, was möglicherweise an der
heutigen Aktualität dieses Themas liegt. Deswegen
In unserer
Zeit brauchen wir diese Qualitäten als Gegenbewegung
zu Kontrolle (Vertrauen) und der digitalen
Welt (Wärme). Vertrauen, wie ich es erlebt habe, hat
meine Motivation geweckt.
I first discovered books by Rudolf Steiner during
a practicum on a biodynamic farm in Norway.
Later, in my work in social therapeutic communities,
I enjoyed the atmosphere – especially the
trust and the fact that I was allowed to take on
responsibility. My curiosity regarding social therapeutic
work was awakened; I wanted to learn
more, so I began studying at the Rudolf Steiner
College in Oslo.
While writing my bachelor’s thesis, I noticed the
lack of Norwegian anthroposophic literature on
the topic of disability and dementia. I also found
nothing in Steiner’s writings that touches on the
current importance of this topic. For this reason,
I believe that dementia is one of the many topics
we need to address today.
My wish is for more and more people to share anthroposophic
values and knowledge on the subject
with me – to help carry them into the future.
There should be more exchange between the
various institutions. My course of study is enormously
enriching, both topically and humanly,
and should really be supported by the institutions.
Other elements are openness, humour, creativity
and structure.
The places where we work should be havens of
trust and warmth. We need these qualities in our
time to counteract control (trust) and the digital
world (warmth). My experience of trust awakened
my motivation.
Social therapy should be a bridge between society
and the individual with a disability. The danger of
isolation for people with disabilities is great, and
yet they have so many qualities that make the
world more colourful.
