1 year/3 semesters Fall, Winter Ontario College Certificate Morningside
Due to an increasing number of seniors and new technologies, Canada’s health occupations are
growing. Be at the centre of it all as a medical laboratory technician. Our curriculum — based on the
national (CSMLS) and provincial standards (MLPAO, formerly OSMT) of practice for entry-level
medical laboratory assistants/technicians — is delivered in a compressed format that gets you into
the workforce faster. The program will emphasize proficiency in collecting blood samples and
performing ECGs, as well as assisting with various tasks such as microbiology streaking, in a safe
and ethical manner. During your final semester, you will participate in a clinical internship field
