3 years/6 semesters Fall Ontario College Advanced Diploma Story Arts<br />
Being a versatile, culturally aware musician and singer, who is also technology and business<br />
savvy, is imperative for success in tomorrow’s music-related fields. This program’s combination of<br />
performance, creative, contextual, business and technology courses will help you do just that. As<br />
you work your way through the curriculum, professional musicians will mentor you through private<br />
lessons and ensemble rehearsals, and you will have the opportunity to perform and record. During<br />
the program’s third year, you will either join the music creation and business stream or the music<br />
creation and technology stream. A six-week field placement will further enhance your hands-on and<br />
specialized experience.<br />

1 year/2 semesters Fall Ontario College Certificate Story Arts<br />
If you dream of a career on the big stage but are not sure what you want to do, this program is for you.<br />
By combining music, theatre and dance fundamentals with specialized elective courses, Performing<br />
Arts Fundamentals will help you focus your training or broaden your horizons. You will work with peers<br />
to create, remix or produce original multidisciplinary performances. Attending shows and networking<br />
will serve as inspiration, while being coached by industry professionals will help you with the audition<br />
process, resumé writing, career management and financing skills. Upon completion, you will be eligible<br />
to directly enter, with minimum requirements, Centennial’s Dance Performance, Music Industry<br />
Arts and Performance, or Theatre Arts and Performance programs.<br />
