Massage Therapy 5110<br />
LENGTH INTAKE CREDENTIAL LOCATION<br />
3 years/6 semesters Fall Ontario College Advanced Diploma Morningside<br />
This program, which uses an evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment planning<br />
and implementation, will prepare you for the expanding field. Balancing theory and practice, the<br />
curriculum will include lab, onsite public clinic and offsite outreach placement experience. You will<br />
learn proper assessment tools and techniques to deal with conditions involving lymph, muscle, nerve,<br />
fascia and joints as well as maintaining physical health, function and mobility. After graduation, you<br />
will be eligible to write the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario-administered registration exams<br />
to obtain the Registered Massage Therapist designation.<br />

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS<br />
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)<br />
or equivalent, or mature student status<br />

Centennial College English Skills Assessment<br />
for Admission<br />
• Biology Grade 11 or 12, C or U, or equivalent<br />
(minimum grade required)<br />
• One additional Science (Physics, Chemistry<br />

In a compressed delivery format, you will gain fundamental and advanced skills to become a massage<br />
therapist with the ability to work in various settings. This program, which uses an evidence-based<br />
approach to assessment and treatment planning and implementation, will prepare you to enter the<br />
industry. Balancing theory and practice, the curriculum will include lab, onsite public clinic and offsite<br />
outreach placement experience. You will learn proper assessment tools and techniques to deal with<br />
