In Ontario, Canada and internationally, employment in culinary management has been stable and
job openings are abundant. By combining cooking with team leadership and entrepreneurial skills,
this program will prepare you for the culinary industry. Emphasis on local food products and seasonal
cooking, with an international slant, will teach you to create exquisite menus and dishes inspired
by global trends and flavours. You will apply those skills during a 14-week work-integrated learning
opportunity. Industry certifications such as Smart Serve, Safe Food Handlers, CPR and It’s Your Shift
(a training and awareness program to prevent sexual harassment and violence) will complement
your training.
