Current job market information shows that over the next 10 years, employment growth in early
childhood education (ECE) is projected to be above the average for all occupations. Join this growing
field by learning to provide high standards of care to children and their families through observing
individual and group needs of infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-aged children, and creating
well-planned, stimulating and responsive programs. Rich classroom experiences will include various
opportunities to understand the curriculum. In two ECE centres used as lab schools, you will observe
and practice in a childcare setting. You will also participate in experiential learning through three
community field placements.
Note: This program is taught using a combination of modalities. Courses may be taught face-to-face, online or in blended/hybrid
combination of both online and traditional classroom teaching.
