From self-driving cars to detecting unusual debit card usage, artificial intelligence (AI) is being applied<br />

to many sectors. Work on the next generation of applications with training from this program. Because<br />

the program is aligned with the latest trends in the software engineering industry, you will learn about<br />

augmented analytics, AI-driven development and autonomous things. Courses will emphasize<br />

modern software design and AI frameworks, machine learning, data visualization, big data<br />

fundamentals, natural language processing, recommender systems, and digital ethics and privacy<br />

guidelines. Through two software development projects, you will develop real-world business<br />

applications.<br />

Whether you are interested in biotechnology, electrical or software engineering technology, or other<br />

technological and applied science career areas, this program is your educational pathway to further<br />

education. By helping you develop a thorough understanding of personal, academic and professional<br />

requirements through skills in communications, mathematics, technology, computers and science,<br />

ICET will support you in meeting academic requirements for the School of Engineering Technology<br />

and Applied Science’s (SETAS) technical programs. Upon completion, and depending on the grade<br />

level you achieve, you may be exempt from certain courses in some Centennial diploma and<br />

advanced diploma programs.<br />
