Canada’s game development industry ranks among the largest of any country. To be successful in<br />
game development, you need to be both technically literate and able to advance the conceptual<br />
and cultural potential of games. This program’s relevant focus on mobile game development will<br />
emphasize the practical applications of the game production process from theoretical, managerial<br />
and technical sides. As you design, prototype and iterate your own fully playable 2D and 3D games,<br />
you will be introduced to design thinking, foundations of computer programming as well as how to<br />
effectively communicate with interdisciplinary teams of artists and programmers.<br />

If you are looking for a creative career that combines visual communication and problem solving,<br />
consider graphic design. At Centennial, you will gain multidisciplinary design skills and practical<br />
experience in an intimate studio environment. Working closely with professors, you will master<br />
industry-standard software, develop print artwork, design responsive websites and mobile apps,<br />
create exciting motion graphics, and explore drawing, photography, illustration, typography and<br />
more. A field placement will put your skills to the test in the real world. RGD Ontario, which<br />
represents more than 3,000 graphic designers, managers, educators and students, formally<br />
recognizes this program.<br />
