There are about 34 million registered vehicles in Canada — and at some point, they will need fixing.<br />
Your automotive repair career starts in this program, which will result in an Ontario college diploma<br />
and levels 1 and 2 of in-school Ontario apprenticeship training. For eight months, you will learn about<br />
product descriptions, operations, diagnostics and repair as they apply to the apprenticeship<br />
curriculum. Additional training will include advanced diagnostics, hybrid/alternate fuels,<br />
management, customer service and general education. As a registered apprentice at a TADA- or<br />
FCA-partnered dealership, you will then complete an eight-month paid work term before returning to<br />
school for a final eight months of career preparation.<br />

3. Program graduates will receive a Motive Power Technician Ontario College Diploma and will be credited with Level 1 and level 2<br />
of Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship in-school training.<br />

MODIFIED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM – 32<br />
If you are employed by Canadian Tire and want to advance your career, this program can help.<br />
Offered in a four-week block format that lasts 64 weeks, it delivers the traditional apprenticeship<br />
curriculum. Training will prepare you for roles such as service and parts manager, service writer,<br />
automotive service technician and automotive manufacturer specialist. As you acquire all the skills<br />
to succeed, you will alternate between in-school college training in an interactive environment and<br />
your Canadian Tire employer.<br />

Tire can be assisted in securing an interview with a<br />
Canadian Tire service manager to try to gain employment.<br />
