Job prospects in bookkeeping are particularly well supported in Toronto because the region accounts
for an above-average share of Ontario’s larger accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and related services
firms. This, combined with our program’s resulting certificate — which also serves as a pathway to
the Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping’s (CIB) Certified Bookkeeper designation — will open doors
to various career opportunities. In Bookkeeping, you will learn bookkeeping functions within the
accounting cycle such as payables, inventory, accounts receivable, and payroll processing using
QuickBooks and Sage 300 ERP. Program completion will also make you eligible to transfer, with
credits, into Centennial’s two- or three-year accounting programs to earn a diploma or advanced
diploma.
