Nutrition and Food Service Management 1607<br />
LENGTH INTAKE CREDENTIAL LOCATION<br />
2 years/4 semesters Fall, Winter Ontario College Diploma Morningside<br />
Apply nutritional care principles to promote health and effectively manage a food service department<br />
as a nutrition and food service professional. The longest established two-year program of its kind<br />
in the Greater Toronto Area, award-winning Nutrition and Food Service Management will prepare<br />
you to take advantage of various opportunities. This accredited program will focus on current best<br />
practices in the areas of financial management, food service operations, clinical nutrition and<br />
human resource management. Balancing theory and practice, the curriculum will include computer<br />
software instruction, state-of-the-art culinary labs, inter-professional collaboration and a six-week<br />
supervised field placement in health care. Upon graduation, you will be eligible for membership with<br />
the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.<br />
