With training reflecting the field’s latest practices and policies, this program will prepare you to work
in diverse settings, including hospitals and retirement homes. The knowledge and skills you gain will
result in an ability to provide compassionate care so individuals with broad-spectrum conditions
and health care needs can lead active and fulfilling lives. An interactive approach coupled with
practical experience in clinical (instructor-led) and community (preceptor-led) settings, where you
will spend 14 weeks, will assist in teaching you to effectively communicate and collaborate with
interprofessional health care team members. This training can also open doors through our Bridging
for Personal Support Worker to Practical Nursing program.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
or equivalent, or mature student status
(19 years or older)
• English Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent

for Admission
• English language proficiency
