Personal Support Worker 9111<br />
LENGTH INTAKE CREDENTIAL LOCATION<br />
1 year/2 semesters Fall, Winter Ontario College Certificate Morningside<br />
With training reflecting the field’s latest practices and policies, this program will prepare you to work<br />
in diverse settings, including hospitals and retirement homes. The knowledge and skills you gain will<br />
result in an ability to provide compassionate care so individuals with broad-spectrum conditions<br />
and health care needs can lead active and fulfilling lives. An interactive approach coupled with<br />
practical experience in clinical (instructor-led) and community (preceptor-led) settings, where you<br />
will spend 14 weeks, will assist in teaching you to effectively communicate and collaborate with<br />
interprofessional health care team members. This training can also open doors through our Bridging<br />
for Personal Support Worker to Practical Nursing program.<br />

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)<br />
or equivalent, or mature student status<br />

Centennial College English Skills Assessment<br />
for Admission<br />
• English language proficiency<br />
