range of subjects at Centennial College — including humanities, social sciences, communications<br />

and research methods — before transitioning to York University for further education. Beyond having<br />

an interest in pursuing a York Bachelor (Honours) degree, you will also benefit from this opportunity<br />

if you are considering a college education in areas such as business administration, child studies<br />

and community services, hospitality and tourism, journalism, and media and design; or exploring<br />

A health care career is challenging but rewarding. Prepare for your goals by exploring topics such<br />

as biology, chemistry, mathematics and communications. If you have not finished high school or<br />

completed science courses, you will earn academic admission credentials for college-level science<br />

programs, and you may become eligible for direct admission to Centennial’s Practical Nursing and<br />

other programs. Each semester, Practical Nursing reserves limited seats for domestic graduates who<br />

meet articulation agreements and minimum grade and course completion criteria. You will<br />

also gain a solid foundation for the Healthcare Environmental Services Management, Fitness and<br />

Health Promotion, Nutrition and Food Service Management, Massage Therapy, Esthetician, and Food<br />

Service Worker programs.<br />
