in EN 81-50, Clause 5.8.1 which are for friction
lifts can be used: acc = 1.5 m/s 2 without motor
torque contribution, or acc = 2.5 m/s 2 max.
in case of electrical failure and motor torque
contribution. The calculation of the speed is the
well known equation
acc = 2,5 m/s 2 max nel caso di guasto elettrico e
contributo della coppia motrice. Il calcolo della
velocità è la nota equazione
We neglect the effect of the rope and chain
or compensation ropes weights for the sake
of simplicity and assumption.
The descending braking force of safety gear units
is known as
SF = (P+Q)×16 (N)
the ascending braking force with the empty car
shall be
F = CWT × (gn+gn×a) – P× (gn–gna) (N)
Where:
Q = max. car load (kg)
P = car weight complete with accessories (kg)
CWT = weight of the counterweight (kg)
gn = gravity acceleration = 9.81 m/s 2
a = acceleration factor, always lower than 1;
in the case of Montanari safety gear, it is usually 0.6.
acc = acceleration m/s 2 .
With these elements, you have all the data needed
to calculate the behaviour and stopping distance
in the system under all operating conditions.
The designer is responsible for the calculation.
Numerical example.
We do not consider the weight of the ropes
and the inertia of the deflection and traction
pulleys for simplicity and we consider the safety
gear properly adjusted to the average
value indicated in the EN 81-50 standard.
Load: Q = 560 kg
Car weight: P = 660 kg
Counterweight balancing factor: bil = 50%
Maximum engaging distance of detector + anticreeping
device: S1 = 210 mm
Idle stroke of the activation levers: S2 = 25 mm
paracadute è nota come
SF = (P+Q)×16 (N)
F = CWT× (gn+gn×a) – P × (gn–gn×a) (N)
Dove:
Q = portata max in cabina in kg
P = Massa cabina completa di accessori in kg
CWT = massa del contrappeso in kg
gn = accelerazione di gravità = 9,81 m/s 2
a = fattore di accelerazione, inferiore sempre a 1;
nel caso del paracadute Montanari normalmente 0,6.
acc = accelerazione m/s 2 .
Portata: Q = 560 kg
Massa della cabina: P = 660 kg
Fattore di bilanciamento del contrappeso: bil = 50%
Distanza max. di attivazione detector + antideriva:
S1 = 210 mm
