The last decade is characterised by increasing
competitive pressure. For us, there is no
compromise on quality and we constantly invest
to give our customers a unique and high level
product. Unique for technical characteristics and
services that surround it.
We continue to bring innovation. New products,
new solutions. The company is now in its second
generation under the guidance of Massimo
Montanari.
The production site in Italy reaches 45,000
square metres from which over 40,000 machines
leave every year towards the lifts of the world.
In 2016 we inaugurated our testing tower.
A 55 meters high laboratory. Its futuristic design
dominates the panorama of Modena. Here we
develop and test new products and special projects.
In the same year we extend our product range
to escalators and moving walks gearboxes.
In 2017 we become Montanari Group
to incorporate under the same name all
the reality that belongs to us and the quality
that distinguishes us.
Making traction machines is an art that belongs
to us. We stand beside the lift operators
and we are committed to making products
that last over time, technologically advanced
and able to guarantee ride quality.
We provide our customers with qualified services
and study solutions that facilitate their business.
From the design of the machines, to technical
consultancy, to the tools made available before
and after the sale.
In 2019, from an IOT point of view, our technical
department studies and realizes Montanari
Giulio App which, thanks to a QR code applied
on the label, allows to manage the product
from the exit from our warehouse and during
the installation and maintenance phases.
THE FUTURE
The lift market is evolving rapidly and companies
are shaping themselves according to its dynamics.
The urban development projections published
by the World Economic forum present us
with a scenario in which migration from rural
areas to cities will intensify and the world will be
increasingly organised upwards. Effective planning
and organisation of vertical transport in buildings
will be a priority for people’s quality of life.
We are ready to take up and face new challenges
with the same spirit and determination as always.
Made by Montanari is a synonymous
of guarantee. We celebrate these 50 years
proud of what we have built.

L’azienda è giunta alla seconda generazione
sotto la guida di Massimo Montanari.
La sede produttiva in Italia raggiunge 45.000 mq
da cui oltre 40.000 macchine ogni anno partono
verso gli ascensori del mondo.
Nel 2016 abbiamo inaugurato la nostra torre
di prova. Un laboratorio alto 55 metri.
Il suo design futuristico domina il panorama
di Modena. Qui sviluppiamo e testiamo nuovi
prodotti e progetti speciali.
Siamo i primi nel nostro settore a introdurre nella
gamma prodotti gli argani per scale e tappeti mobili.
Nel 2017 diventiamo Montanari Group per
inglobare sotto lo stesso nome tutta la realtà che
ci appartiene e la qualità che ci contraddistingue.
Fare macchine di trazione è un’arte
e ci appartiene. Siamo a fianco degli ascensoristi
e ci impegniamo a realizzare prodotti che durino
nel tempo, tecnologicamente evoluti e capaci
di garantire elevati comfort di corsa.
Forniamo ai nostri clienti servizi qualificati
e studiamo soluzioni che ne agevolano l’attività:
dalla progettazione delle macchine, alla
consulenza tecnica, agli strumenti messi
a disposizione prima e dopo la vendita.
Nel 2019, in un’ottica IOT, il nostro ufficio
tecnico studia e realizza Montanari Giulio App
che grazie ad un QR code applicato
sulla targhetta, consente di gestire ogni singolo
prodotto dall’uscita dal magazzino
fino alle fasi di installazione e manutenzione.
IL FUTURO
Il mercato degli ascensori vive una rapida
evoluzione e le aziende si modellano sulla base
delle sue dinamiche. Le proiezioni sullo sviluppo
urbano pubblicate dal World Economic Forum
ci presentano uno scenario in cui le migrazioni
dalle zone rurali alle città si intensificheranno
e il mondo sarà sempre più organizzato verso
l’alto. Progettare e organizzare in maniera efficace
il trasporto verticale negli edifici sarà una priorità
per la qualità della vita delle persone.
Siamo pronti a cogliere e affrontare le nuove sfide
con lo stesso spirito e determinazione di sempre.

Celebriamo questi 50 anni orgogliosi di quello
che abbiamo costruito. Questo articolo è dedicato
