‘ON AIR’ VINCE
IL THE PLAN AWARD 2020
On Air, the innovative concept by IGV Group
and Studio Marco Piva, won the first prize
in the Industrial Design (Future) category
of the Plan Award 2020,
the coveted international
award for the contemporary
architecture, organised by
The Plan sector magazine.
The event was held in
Venice on 11 th , 12 th and 13 th
October 2020.
On Air is the first Ad Hoc
system, a new generation
of lifts conceived in
collaboration with big
names of the architecture
industry, where the lift
becomes an extremely customisable design
object. “The Plan Award acknowledges the
new path of excellence taken by IGV Group,
aiming at giving the lift not only a functional
role, but also an unmistakable aesthetic value,
as an architectural element raising as a piece
of furniture”, said Michele Suria, IGV Group
CEO, commenting on the prize.

On Air è la prima
declinazione della nuova

‘Ad Hoc’, interpretati da
nomi noti dell’architettura,

un oggetto di design,
estremamente personalizzabile. “The Plan
Award premia il nuovo percorso di eccellenza
intrapreso da IGV Group, che vuole assegnare
all’ascensore una valenza non solo funzionale,
ma indiscutibilmente estetica, quale elemento
architettonico elevato a complemento di
arredo”, così Michele Suria, CEO di IGV
Group Spa, ha commentato il riconoscimento.
THE LEONARDO MUSEUM
HOSTS A SELF-SANITIZING LIFT
The ‘Leonardo3 Museum, the world
of Leonardo da Vinci in Milan’ has equipped
the entrance lift with a self-sanitising kit for
automatic air sanitization and car sterilization.
This high level of safety is guaranteed
by the new ‘CARe’ system by the Italian company
IGV Group SpA, installed by
Cazzani Group which, by means
of two different technologies,
is able to sanitize the lift in a few
minutes. The UV-C ultraviolet
light allows the complete
sanitization of the car surfaces,
while a ventilation device with
absolute HEPA filter captures any
viruses and bacteria carried by
the particulate matter, sanitizing
the air almost instantaneously
and starting the sterilization
during stand-by phase.
AL MUSEO LEONARDO
L’ASCENSORE SI AUTO-SANIFICA
Il ‘Leonardo3 Museum, il mondo di Leonardo
da Vinci a Milano’ ha dotato l’ascensore
d’ingresso di un kit che sanifica l’aria e sterilizza
la cabina automaticamente. Questo alto livello
di sicurezza è garantito dal nuovo sistema
‘CARe’ dell’azienda italiana IGV Group SpA,
installato dal Gruppo Cazzani che,
utilizzando contemporaneamente
due tecnologie differenti, è in
grado di sanificare l’ascensore in
pochi minuti. Una luce ultravioletta
UV-C permette la sanificazione
completa delle superfici della
cabina, mentre un dispositivo di
ventilazione con filtro assoluto
HEPA cattura eventuali virus e
batteri trasportati dal particolato,
sanificando l’aria con un ricambio
quasi istantaneo e avviando la
sterilizzazione in fase di stand-by.
