The special collection of<br />
‘HOW IT WORKS’<br />
In 2008 is the year of the launch<br />
of ‘How It Works’. The guide in<br />
English and Italian for the lift<br />
sector. Conceived by the editorial<br />
staff of ‘<strong>Elevatori</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong>’ and<br />
edited by Roberto Cottardo, it<br />
illustrates the lift and the relevant<br />
lift components. A very great<br />
editorial success,<br />
which is still highly sought after.<br />
In 2010, ‘How It Works 2’<br />
was published, which, thanks also<br />
to the contribution of Anica (Italian<br />
Association of Lift Components<br />
Industries) is focused on the main<br />
lift components, with a final<br />
chapter targeted at lift platforms.<br />
In 2013, ‘How It Works 3’ deals<br />
with new contents and it<br />
is distributed globally with<br />
publications in Chinese, German,<br />
Turkish and Hindi.<br />
In 2017, at the heart of ‘How It<br />
Works 4’ (in 3 languages: Italian,<br />
German and English) focuses<br />
on the EN 81-20 & EN 81-50<br />
European Standards and relevant<br />
changes. The sector association<br />
VFA-Interlift was also involved in<br />
the drafting of the fourth volume.<br />
In 2019 ‘How It Works 5’ deals<br />
with modernisation, an important<br />
topic due to the huge number<br />
of systems installed worldwide<br />
in need of maintenance services<br />
for the safety of users.<br />

‘COME FUNZIONA’<br />
Nel 2008 nasce ‘Come funziona’,<br />
la guida in inglese e in italiano per<br />
il settore ascensoristico. Ideata dalla<br />
redazione di ‘<strong>Elevatori</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong>’<br />
e curata dall’ing. Roberto Cottardo,<br />
spiega l’ascensore e i suoi componenti.<br />
Un boom editoriale ancora oggi<br />
richiestissimo.<br />
Nel 2010, viene pubblicato ‘Come<br />
funziona 2’, che, grazie anche al<br />
contributo di Anica (Associazione<br />
Nazionale delle Industrie di<br />
Componenti per Ascensori), prosegue<br />
nella spiegazione dettagliata dei<br />
principali componenti dell’ascensore,<br />
con un capitolo finale dedicato alle<br />
piattaforme elevatrici.<br />
Nel 2013 ‘Come funziona 3’<br />
si arricchisce di nuovi contenuti<br />
e la sua distribuzione si allarga a tutto<br />
il mondo con pubblicazioni anche<br />
in cinese, tedesco, turco e hindi.<br />
Nel 2017, al centro di ‘Come funziona<br />
4’ (redatto in 3 lingue: italiano, tedesco<br />
e inglese) sono le normative europee<br />
EN 81-20 & EN 81-50 e i cambiamenti<br />
a esse legati. Alla redazione del<br />
quarto volume ha collaborato anche<br />
l’associazione di settore VFA-Interlift.<br />
Nel 2019 ‘Come funziona 5’,<br />
si è occupato di modernizzazioni,<br />
tema importante per la quantità<br />
imponente d’impianti installati<br />
in tutto il mondo che necessitano<br />
di interventi indispensabili<br />
per la sicurezza degli utenti.<br />
