Being raised by a strong and visionary leader, the
founder of Shalimar cold storage, Mr. S N Ashraf
(his father), Ashraf grew up imbibing great moral
values. The value of time management, strong
work ethics, and work-life balance were imbibed
in him at a very young age. Possessing a flair for
business and finance early on, he chose to study
Masters (MBA) in Finance at the University of
Wales after completing Bachelor’s in Commerce.
Established In 1977, Shalimar Group has a rich
history and is one of the most respected corporate
enterprises in India. Located in the hub of Patna, it
offers more than 5000 metric tons of refrigerated
warehousing at one place and is easily accessible
from states such as Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar
