detection of human immunodeficiency

hepatitis C virus, while earlier these
tests were earlier limited to pregnancy
tests only. This product has earned huge

instrumental in launching India’s first
portable immune fluorescence assay
analyser, iQuant, in collaboration with
Healthcare Technology Innovation
Center, IIT Madras to address the
scarcity of cost-effective medical test
infrastructure in local diagnostic
centres. This instrument has been
very useful for the qualitative and
quantitative determination of blood test
parameter, including thyroid stimulating
hormone (TSH), tri-iodo thyronine
(T3), thyroxin (T4), dengue antigens
and c-reactive protein tests. This one
equipment can perform tests for various
analytes, including HbA1c, vitamin
D, hormones, and infectious diseases.
The instrument is designed to cater
to the unmet needs of the diagnostic
markets. This innovation has made
it possible to render highly effective
diagnostic services even to rural and
remotest locations at a negligible cost
and addresses the requirements of the
diagnostic markets that were impossible
to meet before.
