successful entrepreneur, Mr.
Vasal had been nurturing a strong
desire of giving back to society by
providing excellent infrastructure and
educational facilities to the students,
from the very beginning of his career
in 1981. Nearly after two decades of
business pursuit, he decided to give wings
to his dream by laying the foundation of
Vasal Educational Society in 2005 and
established its first school as Cambridge
International School, Dasuya, in 2006. The
basic concept behind the setting up of this
school was to promote international level
qualification at a reasonable price in a
smaller town like Dasuya. As he puts it, “In
my hometown, people usually send their
kids to other towns for studies; I wanted
to change that because I realized the
importance of education in a man’s life. If
your elementary level of education is good
then your fundamentals become clear, and
this is a huge contributing factor in life.
In tier 1 cities, this type of education is
being provided at a very high cost, here we
brought the same international standard of
education at a very low price.”
Setting-up Abodes of Knowledge
A sincere and dedicated administrator, Mr.
Vasal has been efficiently leading the Group,
and has played a crucial role in its emergence
as the most preferred educational brand
in the region. His second venture was The
GEMS Cambridge International School,
Hoshiarpur, which was established in 2009,
and emerged as a leading institution in the
area in a short span of three years. Under
his quintessential leadership, IVY World
School was set up at Jalandhar in the year
2012 with high quality infrastructure at par
with leading schools across the globe.
A visionary to the core, Mr. Vasal could
anticipate well in advance the tremendous
need for enduring, high quality school
education in the region. He also established
I-League Education Private Limited in
January, 2014. Under his guidance, three
schools under the banner of I-League
Education namely Ivy World Play School,
Jalandhar, Cambridge International School,
Phagwara and Ivy Kinders Educare have
been consistently setting new benchmarks
of excellence since their inception. He is also
planning to open colleges and university for
around 300 to 400 villages in the region in
line with his mission of providing quality
international education at higher level.

Giving Back to Society
Mr. Vasal is deeply committed to contributing
to the welfare of society by employing the
noble tool of education. Talking about some
of the socially responsible endeavours
carried by the group under his leadership,
he says, “Nearly 300 to 400 village children
are studying in our various schools at very
subsidized fees, especially designed for
them.” He further adds, “We have around
10,280 students with us studying in our
different branches at a very minimal cost.”
In addition, some of the children belonging
to the economically weaker section, who
could not pay the fees by themselves are
adopted by Vasal Educational Society. They
are also provided with free of cost extra
coaching in studies, wherever required.
Under his able leadership, Vasal Educational
Group has also been promoting girl child
education extensively.
Marching Towards a Glistening
Future
Mr. Vasal charts all his plans with an aim
of refining the quality of education being
provided by the group, and reaching out to
children residing in the remote areas. He
states, “In the coming times, our work will
remain focused into areas where quality
education is required the most, especially
at elementary level.” He further adds,
“There are quite a few districts in Punjab
where students do not get quality education
and our job is to reach out to them.”
As a leader who has attained the coveted
position of eminence, Mr. Vasal believes
that success can be attained through sheer
diligence and earnest efforts. He asserts,
“Make hard-work your habit.” His message
to the youth is, “You should enjoy the tough
grind in your life and work towards making
yourself a better person and establishing
yourself in life.” He further adds, “Work
hard for the first 25 years of your life so
that you can reap its benefits for the next
50 years of your life.”
