towards improving the entire construction
sector, Dr. Gupta asserts, “Given an
opportunity, I would implement the
following: Restricting buying from ISI units
only, Promoting business groups to brand
these products, and Identifying units and
put names in project tenders.”
Dr. Gupta prefers to strategize future
plans and growth of his company, and
has set a short-term target of making his
company fully automated with new current
technologies for easy expansion, and also
creating R&D centres for construction
material production.
For the long term, he plans to create
the largest construction material
manufacturing and supplying company in
the world with world’s best quality.
Good Deeds
Believing strongly that distributing the
benefits of your success through different
avenues into distinct strata of society
brings back greater success, Dr. Gupta
has been regularly taking steps towards
improvement of environment and good of
his employees and the general public.
He feels that Corporate Social
Responsibility for every organization
is very important. Talking about his
efforts towards CSR, he says, “Although
construction industry, with the current
technology, creates carbon emissions and
air pollution, we try our best to plant as
many trees as possible to balance the
negative effects. Moreover, we provide
healthcare for all of our employees and
their families.”
He shares further, “We plant 1000 trees
every year as a social responsibility for
environment. I always make extra efforts
and offer personal help for welfare of all
SKGC employees with respect to health
and education. In future, SKGC intends to
create a Foundation, which will work for the
environment. “I always feel that one must
be honest to the commitment & quality,
and this is the only key for sustainable
and prosperous business. Of course,
my family’s support has always been an
integral part of success without which I
couldn’t have achieved so much personally
or professionally. Our initiatives on offering
healthcare to all of our employees and
their families, has ensured their happiness,
loyalty, and extra hard work, which in
turn has had an immense impact on the
development of my company.”
His benevolent efforts towards his
employees and the environment have
resulted in various prestigious recognitions
for himself and SKGC. He shares his
feelings, “Timely execution of orders and
appreciation from clients give us a sense
of triumph. All awards received by us
motivate us to do better.”
