The biggest differentiating factor he
created in the industry was disruption in
the partner space. He understood that in
the market, partners acted as resellers
who took the margins as a transactional
deal and did not offer any other value as a
partner except for billing/transacting, and
also charged for every other service. The
existing model was that OEMs would sell to
the partners and would offer them a minor
part of the revenue, while they would make
a lot more by charging the customer for the
services.
This is where he disrupted, as he created
a new system and did not charge anything
from a business for services to manage
them if they hosted on Cloud. He quickly
created winning points by extending his
high-quality services, premium technical
skill sets and by ensuring that these costs
were a part of the margins they earned
from the OEM and there was no additional
burden on the OEM.
