Although there is no housing on campus at
the University of Baltimore, information
regarding off-campus housing in the area is
available from the Center for Student
Involvement. The staff maintains listings
more than 600 houses, apartments, and
rooms ro rent or share, as well as names of
other students looking for housing.
Students may find a variety of accommodations,
both within walking distance of
the University and in the surrounding suburban
areas. Rental rates in the Baltimore
City area are moderate, ranging berween
$150-$250 per month for a room in a private
home; $250-$400 per month for an
unfurnished efficiency; $350-$600 for an
unfurnished, one-bedroom apartment; and
$400 and up for an unfurnished rwo-bedroom
apartment. Renting a house can be
very cost-effective if shared with one or
more housemates.
The Center for Student Involvement
also helps students learn about the city by
providing information on transportation,
bus routes, and sights, activities and events.

UB offers a unique and versatile food service
program though our food service partner,
Whitsons. Retail operations include a
food court cafeteria and kiosk carts. A cart
is located on the 1 St floor of the Academic
and Business Centers. Srop by the carts ro
sample gourmet coffees, smoothies, homemade
bagels, pas tries and desserts. Berween
classes, petuse the extensive "grab & go"
menu featuring sandwiches, salads and
snacks. The cafeteria can be found on the
lower level of the law center offering the
daytime community a variety oflunchtime
options. "Grab & go" salads and wraps,
grilled-to-order meals, gourmet pizza,
homemade soups and made-to-order gourmet
sandwiches are JUSt a few of the offerings

Whitsons is the official caterer for
University meetings, conferences and special
events. They are experienced in providing
professional catering services for
functions of all types and sizes. The oncampus
Staff is available ro handle the daily
catering needs producing efficient, high
quality events.

The University maintains several parking
facilities, and limited on-street parking is
available around the main campus during
non-peak traffic hours. Locations for parking
facilities include:
General Parking: There are four lots
available ro registered students, faculty, and
staff:
1) Bolton Yard Lot, West Oliver Street
(north side) berween Maryland and Mt.
Royal avenues: 600 spaces
2) Biddle Street Garage, Maryland Avenue
berween Presron and Chase streets: 500
spaces
3) Langsdale Library Lot, West Oliver
Street (south side), berween Maryland
and West Mr. Royal avenues: 40 spaces
4) Triangle Lot, Cathedral Street behind
Biddle Street Garage: 27 spaces
Addi tionally, after 6: 15 p.m. Mondays­
Thursdays and on weekends, students with
a valid UB permit may park on the Northeast
Faculty/Staff Reserved Lot, located at
the corner of North Charles Street and East
Mr. Royal Avenue (75 spaces) .
