The University of Baltimore does not
administer an exchange visitor program and
does not issue the Form lAP-66 required
for J-1 visa students.
International applicants musr submit
the following credentials as part of the
application for graduate study:
1) Graduate application form.
2) Non-refundable application fee of $30;
$35 for M.S. in Taxation.
3) Supplemental International Applicant
Information Sheet.
4) Official transcripts sent directly by each
college and university previously
attended; and final transcript showing
completion of baccalaureate degree.
5) Course-by-course evaluation report of
foreign transcripts, if applicable. See

6) Evidence of English language proficiency.

7) Official scores from the Graduate
Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
are required for all graduate business
applicants. GMAT information may be
obtained from the Educational Testing
Service, Box 6103, Princeton, NJ
08541-6103, USA. The University of

8) Official scores of the graduate record
examination (GRE) are required for all
M.S. in Applied Psychology and M.S. in
Interaction Design and Information
Architecture applicants and all doctoral
program applicants. GRE information
may be obtained from The Educational

NJ 08541-6014, USA. The University

9) Letters of recommendation, resume,
letter of intent, portfolio and/or interview
with program director, as required
by individual academic departments.

10) Evidence of financial resources ro cover
tuition and living expenses in full for
two years (F-l visa students only).
11) Certified English translations must
accompany all documents issued in a
language other than English.

RESIDENCY CLASSIFICATION
The Board of Regents of the University
System of Maryland (USM) has established
a policy regarding student residency classification
for admission, tuition and charge
differential. Residency classification shall
be determined on the basis of permanent
residency.
Eight criteria must be met before instate
status for admission, tuition and
charge differential purposes can be
assigned. These criteria are:
1) at least 12 consecutive months of residency
in Maryland prior to the Start
of classes;
2) all personal property maintained in
Maryland;
3) Maryland income tax paid on all earned
taxable income for 12 months;
4) motor vehicles registered in Maryland
in accordance with Maryland law;
5) valid Maryland driver's license in accordance
with Maryland law;
6) if registered to vote, registered in
Maryland;
7) no public assistance from a source outside
Maryland; and,
8) legal ability under federal and Maryland
law to reside permanently in Maryland.
