Applications with supporting credentials
will be considered after due dates depending
upon space availabiliry, strength of credentials,
and sufficient processing time.
School 0/Business applicants: Only nondegree
applications will be accepted two
weeks prior to the first day of classes for a
given semester. Non-degree status does not
preclude application for degree status in a
later semester. (Students applying for the
Advantage M.B.A. and Saturday M.B.A.
programs should contact the Admissions
Office for the appropriate deadline.)
For students applying for a scholarship,
the application for admission and all credentials
must be received by March 1 for
the fall semester, and by November 1 for
the spring semester. (For fall semester
awards, completed applications received by
March 1 will be considered for early
awards.)
For students applying for an assistantship,
preference is given to those applying
by April 1 to the Merrick School of
Business, and by May 1 for all other assistantship
positions.
UNCONDITIONAL STATUS
An applicant seeking admission to a program
as an unconditional degree candidate
must have obtained at least a bachelor's
degree at a regionally accredited college or
universiry and have satisfactorily completed
all additional admission requirements of
the specific program in which he/she is
applying.
ACCEPTANCE PEIIDING
BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Applicants for graduate program entry may
apply during their senior year of undergraduate
study. Acceptance will be based on
official transcripts that reflect all but the
last term recorded. Applicants should submit
their course schedule for the final
semester with their application for
admission.
If the applicant is permitted to register
prior to receipt of the final official tran­

script from a prior institution, a waiver
form is signed that requires submission of a
final official transcript no later than 30 days
after the beginning of the student's first
semester as a graduate student at the
Universiry of Baltimore. Note: The admission
process requires an official tramcript to be
sent by each imtitution attended.
Criteria for acceptance prior to the
award of the bachelor's degree is the same as
noted for unconditional acceptance.
POST-GRADUATE STUDENTS
A student who has already earned a graduate
degree may be accepted for course
enrollment. In general, post-graduate applicants
are required to meet the same admissions
criteria as other applicants.
Graduate credits earned at the Universiry
of Balcimore subsequent to earning one graduate
degree may be applied, as appropriate
and approved by a program director, toward
the requirements of a second graduate
degree.
READMISSION
Graduate students who have not registered
for more than two consecutive semesters
(excluding summer sessions) must apply for
readmission. Students must submit a new
application for graduate admission and a
non-refundable fee of $15. Students who
have attended another institution since
their last enrollment at the Universiry of
Baltimore should have two official copies of
the transcript sent directly to the Office of
Graduate Admissions.
Students may be readmitted to their
graduate program if they were in good academic
standing at the time of the last attendance
at the Universiry of Baltimore and
are in good academic standing at any college
attended since their last enrollment at
the Universiry.
If approved for readmission, students
will be required to meet the admission and
course requirements as well as policies and
procedures in effect at the time of readmission.
