SCREW-LINE Insertion<br />

Implant Bed Preparation<br />

Overview of the implant bed preparation.<br />

Note: implant bed preparation is identical<br />

for SCREW-LINE Implants with<br />

Promote ® and Promote ® plus surfaces.<br />

• Punch-mark the desired implant position<br />

with the internally irrigated Ø<br />

2.3 mm round bur.<br />

• Deep drill along the implant axial line<br />

with the internally irrigated Ø 2.0 mm<br />

pilot drill.<br />

• Check with Ø 1.7-2.8 / 2.0 mm paralleling<br />

pin with depth marks.<br />

• Pre-drill with the internally irrigated Ø<br />

1.7-2.8 mm pre-drill.<br />

• Check with the Ø 1.7-2.8 / 2.0 mm<br />

paralleling pin with depth marks.<br />

• Shape with internally irrigated form<br />

drill.<br />

• Probe the implant bed hole for its<br />

bony end.<br />

• Cortical bone drilling (for bone quality<br />

D1).<br />

• Thread cutting with SCREW-LINE tap<br />

(for bone quality D1 and D2)<br />
