6. ROOT-LINE Implant<br />

Introduction<br />

The ROOT-LINE Implant is a root-shaped<br />

screw implant. It is suitable for delayed<br />

implantation and especially for immediate<br />

or delayed immediate implantation.<br />

The healing method may be either submerged<br />

or transgingival. It can be used<br />

in a space-limited apical bony site<br />

because of its apical taper combined<br />

with a cylindrical body. Fenestrations can<br />

be avoided through appropriate selection<br />

of the prosthetic diameter and axial<br />

orientation.<br />

The self-tapping thread ensures high primary<br />

stability in the cylindrical area. The<br />

root-shaped macro-configuration in conjunction<br />

with the Promote ® surface produces<br />

greater contact with the bone surface.<br />

The <strong>CAMLOG</strong> connection enables<br />

the use of every type of prosthetic<br />

restoration.<br />

Available diameters are 3.8 mm, 4.3<br />

mm, 5.0 mm, and 6.0 mm, in lengths of<br />

9 mm, 11 mm, 13 mm, and 16 mm.<br />
