economy, religions, and culture. Written sources will be studied as well as the art and architecture <strong>of</strong> Rome and nearby cities <strong>of</strong><br />

Ostia, Pompeii, and Herculaneum to gain a comprehensive view <strong>of</strong> ancient Rome. Prerequisite: Western Civilization I or World<br />
