Associate <strong>of</strong> Arts<br />

in Bible<br />

This two-year degree program is intended either for students who may transfer to a liberal arts college to seek a major not <strong>of</strong>fered<br />

at WJU, or for students who want a well-rounded education that balances Bible, ministry, and foundational studies.<br />

Students who complete this program will have gained a strong foundation for lifelong autonomous learning, and the skills and<br />

broad worldview needed for effective service and leadership, both in the church and in an increasingly multicultural society.<br />

Furthermore, these students will demonstrate:<br />

1. An ability to communicate the Word <strong>of</strong> God.<br />

2. An understanding <strong>of</strong> the world and its history.<br />

3. A basic understanding <strong>of</strong> the general themes <strong>of</strong> the Bible and biblical history.<br />

4. An understanding <strong>of</strong> the church revealed in scripture and several basic principles <strong>of</strong> New Testament Christianity.<br />
