Provides an understanding <strong>of</strong> how the Bible came to be and introduces the basic principles and skills required to interpret it<br />
accurately. Emphasizes an understanding and application <strong>of</strong> Scripture to today’s world. The skills developed will then be related<br />
to reading critically other subject materials.<br />

Christian Perspective<br />
Challenges students to consider how general revelation (creation) and special revelation (the Scriptures) <strong>of</strong> God affects every<br />
aspect <strong>of</strong> life. Each student will be encouraged to develop a truly Christian world view and understand and critique competing<br />
world views.<br />

Christian Perspective<br />
This course will include an examination <strong>of</strong> the Christian worldview and the interaction between Christianity and various<br />
contemporary worldviews. Students will analyze and critique a variety <strong>of</strong> worldview paradigms, including modernism and<br />
postmodernism. Students will be encouraged to develop a distinctly Christian worldview to apply to all aspects <strong>of</strong> life, particularly<br />
to a personal philosophy <strong>of</strong> education.<br />

Building on individual strengths, this course prepares adult students for college success and sharpens their critical thinking,<br />
writing, and research skills. It also integrates biblical principles into personal strategies for success within and beyond the <strong>School</strong><br />

A “cross-training’’ module to introduce the principles and skills necessary to effectively communicate Scripture through teaching<br />
and preaching delivery. Practical application assignments will be made, and reports/presentations will be given. Emphasis will be<br />
placed on methods and applications.<br />

Evangelism and Discipleship<br />
A study <strong>of</strong> the nature, purpose, and process <strong>of</strong> biblical evangelism and its application to various ministries; a study <strong>of</strong> New<br />
Testament discipleship principles and their application, with a special emphasis upon building discipling relationships and small<br />
group ministry.<br />

Internship Seminar<br />
Introduces students to the internship and assists them as they consider their own career goals and establish personal and<br />
ministry objectives for their internship experience.<br />

Internship I<br />
Practical application and further development <strong>of</strong> ministry concepts learned in class. Students participate in a 6 month internship<br />
in a ministry setting under the direct guidance <strong>of</strong> a ministry supervisor. This educational experience allows students to learn by<br />
