An interactive study <strong>of</strong> the great doctrines <strong>of</strong> the Christian faith, helping students to form and articulate a biblical faith that speaks<br />

to the world today. The course places emphasis not only on clarifying the doctrines themselves but explores how each one<br />

informs our ethical existence, our lives and ministries in the world. Integration <strong>of</strong> thought, critical thinking and application to life<br />

will be emphasized. (Prerequisites: Senior class standing, BIBL101, BIBL102, BIBL103, BIBL349, and NT308)<br />

An introduction to the major trends in contemporary theological thought. The course will explore 20th and 21st Century men,<br />

Third World Theology<br />

“Third World” is a designation for a people who have been excluded from power, from the authority to mold and shape their own<br />

future. Racial minorities, the poor, women and the marginalized peoples <strong>of</strong> the world all fit this category. This course gives<br />

attention to the most recent trends in third world theology, particularly the Liberation and contextualized theology <strong>of</strong> the 20th<br />

Century. (Prerequisites: Junior class standing, BIBL101, BIBL102, BIBL103, BIBL349, NT308)<br />

Capstone Course for Theology<br />
