Sam brings a dynamic background to the SPS program including 20 years in private industry as
the former President of EPA, Ltd dba Provco, a national utility services contractor. He also
served as a former bank executive in both Colorado and northern California. Sam began his
career in higher education as an adjunct instructor focusing on classes offered in the
Management major in 2005 and was asked to come on board as Director in 2007. Sam’s
success and experience in industry is instrumental in leading SPS to operational effectiveness.
In the classroom his real life experiences helps to accomplish the SPS objective of providing
practical instruction to students that they can apply in their lives the next day. Sam most
enjoys seeing the student transformation process as they grow in their knowledge and faith.
