A few subjective thoughts, then my personal experiences:<br />

• The percentage of time a presidential candidate spends<br />

planning his/her DC fantasy team is likely inversely proportionate<br />

to the odds of him/her ever having the opportunity<br />

to make those nominations.<br />

• At least in modern times, candidates do not promise the<br />

VP nomination, BUT that does not mean that wannabe<br />

Veeps never HeAR a promise amid effusive praise soliciting<br />

their loyalty. (With her tenuous grasp of facts, can't<br />
