The worm and the child: the domestic life of a woman artist
in the eighties. The pressure and commitment between family
life and the professional life. A green worm was removed from
a plant while it was eating leaves. Later it was moved to
different surfaces and its movements were registered by the
artist with her first owned portable-domestic video camera
while she was taking care of her four-year-old child. The
worm was moving continuously, and the child was spontaneously
radiocasting the movements of the animal. We can also hear
other voices of the domestic life that was going on.

El cuc i el nen. La vida interior d’una artista els
anys vuitanta. La pressió i el compromís entre la vida
familiar i la professional. Un cuc verd va ser retirat
d’una planta mentre s’estava menjant les fulles. Més
tard es va traslladar a diferents superfícies i els
seus moviments eren enregistrats per Marisa amb la
seva primera càmera portàtil de vídeo, mentre cuidava
el seu petit de quatre anys. El cuc es mou sense parar
i el nen posa so als seus moviments. També se senten
altres sons de la vida domèstica que passen al seu
voltant.
El gusano y el niño. La vida interior de una artista mujer
en los años ochenta. La presión y el compromiso entre la
vida familiar y la profesional. Un gusano verde fue retirado
de una planta mientras estaba comiendo sus hojas. Más tarde
se trasladó a diferentes superficies y sus movimientos eran
registrados por Marisa con su primera cámara de vídeo
portátil, mientras cuidaba a su hijo de cuatro años. El gusano
se mueve sin parar y el niño pone sonido a sus movimientos.
También se escuchan otros sonidos de la vida doméstica que
está sucediendo alrededor.
