linkages, visual and recreational relief to all precincts, residential<br />

neighbourhoods and parklands.<br />

• Design themes to be introduced for each planning zone to create a<br />

variety of recreational activities and place settings for all age groups<br />

and community interest.<br />

• Safe and convenient pedestrian access ways and linkways to and from<br />

work places, residential areas, shopping, public amenities and parks.<br />

• Provide appropriate and attractive tourist facilities and amenities.<br />

• Ensure the comprehensive management of non-polluting waterfront<br />

activities, landuses, landmarks and water features and other scenic<br />
