The development of the High-Tech Park will consist of the following
major landuse zones :
• High-tech industry zone
• Institution zone
• Research and development zone
• Greenery and open space zone
9.35.1 URBAN DESIGN
High-Tech Industry
• Image of development should be 'high technology' where every building
will be able to project a certain prestige or corporate status with
strategic and prominent location as well as quality landscaping.
• Attractive interior and exterior environment should be created to
attract middle management group and highly skilled and knowledge
workers.
• Flexible space layout should be provided.
• Provision of large column-free space exceeding 3,000 square metres
should be given priority.
• Space for future expansion of high-tech industrial activities should be
considered.
• Adequate, comfortable, accessible and safe parking facilities for the
employees and visitors should be provided according to planning
standards.
