The University of Potsdam, Faculty of Science, Institute of Biochemistry
and Biology invites applications for the position of an
Endowed Professorship (W2)
of Immunotechnology
The appointment is for a period of 5 years, subject to availability of third-party
funding.
The successful applicant should have an excellent immunological research record
of in vitro immunization, immunization using virus-like particles and modern
methods for the selection of antibody-producing cells. In addition, the candidate
indicated.
The successful hire will integrate into the collaborative environment of groups
from Potsdam University and neighboring institutes. He/She will lead the research
group “Antibody Technologies” and expand and strengthen the long-standing
cooperation of this group with industrial companies. The group “Antibody Technolo-
project. The position further involves teaching at the Bachelor and Master level.
It includes courses in immunology and antibody technology for Bachelor students
in biosciences and Master students in biochemistry and molecular biology at the
Potsdam University.

Brandenburg Higher Education Act for tenured professors only.
